Craig Harrell, DVM

George county native Dr. Craig is a 1998 Graduate of George County High School. He attended Mississippi State University for his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. After working in the engineering field in Jackson, Mississippi, he returned to Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. There he met his wife, Katy, who is also a veterinarian. Upon graduation, he went to work in Mobile, AL, and in March of 2010, he and his wife opened Singing River Animal Clinic. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors including hunting, hiking, fishing, and spending time with his family, and working with on his own cow herd. Drs. Craig and Katy have 5 children, and numerous animals consisting of dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and mules.

Katy Harrell, DVM

Hattiesburg native Dr. Katy graduated from Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, MS. She attended Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, TN where she received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then worked in Lexington, KY at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital where she served as a surgery technician. She then attended Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, she was a relief veterinarian in the Mobile area. She, along with Dr. Craig, opened Singing River Animal Clinic. Drs. Craig and Katy have 5 children, Ethan, Caroline, Benjamin, Isabelle and Julia. They also have a small farm consisting of cows, mules, chickens, goats, dogs, and cats.

Matthew Harrison, DVM

Dr. Matt is a Lucedale native, and graduated from George County High School. He then attended Mississippi State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Animal and Dairy Science. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been with Singing River Animal Clinic since October of 2013. He is married to Rayne and they have two sons, Judson and Wade, and 1 daughter, Henley. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.

Chelsea Hodges, DVM

Dr. Chelsea is from Nesbit, Mississippi, where she graduated high school from Southern Baptist Educational Center. She received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in Animal and Dairy Science. She then continued her education at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2018. In her spare time, Dr. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband Ethan and daughter Emory.

Teresa McMackin, DVM

Dr. Teresa is from Ocean Springs, MS, and a graduate of St. Patrick Catholic High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Notre Dame University, and a master’s degree in Medical Sciences from Mississippi College. She went on to study at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at LSU, graduating with her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2021. Dr. Teresa has a blind puppy named Lucy.

Charlsie Hicks, DVM

Dr. Charlsie Hicks is a native of Leakesville, Mississippi. She graduated from Green County High School in 2017. For her undergraduate career, Charlsie attended Mississippi State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2020. She continued her education at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her DVM degree in 2024. Charlsie is passionate about small and large animal medicine, reproduction, surgery and herd work. In her spare time, Charlsie enjoys spending time with her family, and going on walks with her dog Archer. Charlsie is excited to become a member of the SRAC team and looks forward to meeting all of our great clients.

Tyler Watley

Vet Nurse/ CSR

Tyler has been with SRAC since May 2023. She currently resides in Hurley with her husband and fur babies. She graduated from East Central High School in 2017 and has been working with animals ever since. She is studying for her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology with Penn Foster. She is the owner of an Olde English Bulldog named Abbie, a PitBull / Shar Pei named LadyMay, and a French Bulldog named Nyxie. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, being on the river, and mud riding.

Lindsey Freeman

Customer Service Representative

Lindsey has been with SRAC since July 2017. She resides in Neely, MS with her husband, Donovan, Elena and Sonic and their 2 Huskies, Odin and Freya. She is an active member in her church and enjoys shopping and video games in her free time as well as all things Disney.

Amy Wilkerson

Customer Service Representative

Amy has been an employee at SRAC since August of 2020. She lives in Harleston with her husband and dog Bentley. She has grown children and one grandchild that live in Louisiana. Amy is a graduate of USM and taught kindergarten for 24 years before retiring and comes to work with us.

Lisa Case

Customer Service Representative

Lisa has been with SRAC since October 2020. She resides in Lucedale, MS with her husband, Charlie, and their six fur babies. She is a lifelong resident of Lucedale and a 30 year veteran in the customer service industry. She and her husband have a combined total of 6 children, 7 grandchildren and enjoy traveling, woodworking and gardening in the spare time.

Darrington Williams

Customer Service Representative

Darington has been with us since November 2023. She is originally from Murray, KY and currently resides in Fruitdale, AL with her husband, Logan, their daughter Blake, and fur baby Copper. Darington loves going to the river, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Michelle Crenshaw

Veterinary Nurse

Michelle has been working at Singing River Animal Clinic since September 2010. She has a Certificate in Veterinary Assisting from San Juan College. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, reading and spending time with family. She has a special beagle named Rigby.

Brianna McLeod

Veterinary Nurse

Brianna has been working at Singing River Animal Clinic since March 2012. She was born and raised in Lucedale and graduated from Belford High School in 2010. She is a certified Veterinary Assistant, and has previously attended the Veterinary Technology Distant Learning Program at Penn Foster. She is the owner of four dogs: Kamali, Tamaska, Sage and Colt, as well as three cats; Jameson, Scamp and Cordelia. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and traveling.

Morgan Leggett

Veterinary Nurse

Morgan has been with Singing River Animal Clinic since 2012. She is a certified Veterinary Assistant and currently studying Veterinary Technology at Penn Foster College. She resides in Lucedale with her husband Kody and their sons Lincoln and Monroe. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and on their family farm raising cattle and chickens.

Katelyn Adams

Katelyn is from Lucedale and graduated from GCHS in 2018. She then attended and graduated from MGCCC with an associate of arts degree. She has been working at SRAC since July 2020. She has 2 long hair Miniature Dachshunds and an English Springer Spaniel. In her free time she likes to travel and go shopping.

Racheal Langley

Racheal was born in Louisiana, but moved to Mississippi during her 4th grade year. She graduated from East Central High School in 2011. Her first job started right here at Singing River Animal Clinic. She plans to attend college to further her education and become a veterinary technician. She has two cats, Luna and Femto.

Lauren Hosey

Lauren has been a SRAC employee since August 2016. She lives in Vancleave, MS with her dogs Gremlin the Shih Tzu, and Fergus the Golden Doodle.

Mikayla Brooks

Vet Nurse

Mikayla has been at SRAC since September 2020. She graduated from ECHS in 2017. She then attended MGCCC and graduated with an Associate’s degree in science in 2019. Mikayla has two cats Binx and Maverick and two dogs, Kona and Velma. She intends to start veterinary technician school in the near future.

Carey McLain

Veterinary Nurse

Carey attended MGCCC where he got a nursing degree and subsequently his RN. He decided he liked the pets better and is now enrolled in the Mississippi State Veterinary School. He is projected to graduate in 2025.

Camie Morris

Camie has been at Singing River Animal Clinic since August of 2020. She lives in Lucedale, MS with her family and beloved pets: a Siamese cat named Louie, and a blue heeler named Pongo .

Emily Littlefield

Ashley Cannon

Ashley has been with SRAC since July 2022. She resides in Lucedale with her family. She has a small farm which includes horses, goats, ducks/chickens and a Jersey Steer who is a gentle giant. She also has 4 rescue dogs named Toby, Harley, Chase and Cheese. In her spare time, she and her family love to be out on the water or trail riding.

Logan Martin

Kennel Technician

Logan started working at Singing River Animal Clinic in 2023. He graduated from George County High School in 2021. He enjoys golf…. A lot! He has 2 dogs named Rocko and Buddy.

Lulu Webb

Lulu resides in Moss Point, MS. She graduated from VanCleave High School in 2020. She has been working in the veterinary field since May of 2021. She started at SRAC in September 2024. Growing up she has always had an immense love for animals of all kinds! She dreamt of becoming a veterinarian when she was little. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster. Outside of work she enjoys dancing, kayaking, and horseback riding. She loves to spend time with her husband and their fur babies.
